Grades K-5

    

    These are lesson plans for Elementary school. As more and more counselors add lesson plans, we will divide this section into Early Elementary (Grades K-2) and Intermediate (Grades 3-5) levels.

    Classroom guidance lessons are a tool to educate students on a specific topic. They are most effective when they are developed as a result of a determined need. During classroom guidance sessions, counselors can often help identify students in need of group and individual counseling.    

Although the lesson plans here have been written for classroom guidance, they are easily adapted for use in group counseling.    

Grade levels are approximations. Feel free to go up or down a grade level depending on the maturity of your group.    

Grades 6-10

   

  These are lesson plans for Middle and early High School. As more counselors add lesson plans, we will break this division into two levels: Middle School (Grades 6-8) and Early High School (Grades 9-10).
